Yale-based locations providing Integrative Medicine:

Yale Stress Center

Integrative Medicine services are available at the Yale Stress Center. Integrative Medicine is the practice of medicine that reaffirms the importance of the relationship between practitioner and patient, focuses on the whole person, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapeutic approaches, healthcare professionals and disciplines to achieve optimal health and healing. At the Yale Stress Center, we combine mainstream medicine with complementary therapies that are safe and effective.

The Yale Stress Center provides a setting for both treatment and research to co-exist. Our clinical treatment services address ongoing stress and stress-related behaviors that negatively affect health. Cutting edge interdisciplinary science on the deleterious effects of stress and adversity, how stress and lifestyle choices promote chronic diseases, and new treatments to optimize functioning is being conducted to improve health outcomes and preempt disease and relapse.

Clinical Services include integrative medicine evaluations, extensive stress evaluation and diagnostic assessment, thorough biomedical analysis for stress, health, and immune functioning, stress reduction workshops and retreats, guided breathing, relaxation training, mindfulness-based stress reduction, stress management and emotion regulation skills, personalized life coaching, individual and group therapy, biofeedback, nutrition, exercise, fitness and weight loss, acupuncture, yoga, medications, dietary supplements, preventive care, endocrinology, and psychiatry.

The Yale Stress Center is a practice of the Yale Medical Group.

The Yale Stress Center Clinic is located at 2 Church Street South (Doctors Building) on the Yale School of Medicine Campus.
